Each season we select local gardening experts and designers, as well as our knowledgeable senior staff, to teach seminars & workshops in our popular gardening education series. Unless otherwise noted, seminars are free for Rewards Members (Workshop fees are additional), and $10 for non-members (membership is free!). Seminar: Learn how to Prune Roses

Learn from the Rose Society and our knowledgeable staff how to prune roses effectively. Good pruning can increase the overall health of plants and leave them less susceptible to insects and disease. Make & Take Workshop: Create a Tropical Indoor Centerpiece

Bring the color indoors and Escape To The Tropics! Our designers will demonstrate and help participants create a colorful planter using Bromeliads and tropical greens. Leave with a beautiful arrangement that you’ve made and bring color into your home. Seminar: Clean the Air with Houseplants

Did you know that adding plants inside your home or office can help purify the air?  Several studies have shown that houseplants are an effective tool for reducing the amount of airborne mold, airborne microbes, and compounds called Volatile Organic Chemicals (VOC’s).
