- 1 bunch of asparagus (about 1 lb)
- Olive oil
- 1 meyer lemon
- Salt and pepper
- 2Tbs freshly grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Clean and rinse asparagus, break off white bottoms. Brush with olive oil and salt, and squeeze fresh meyer lemon over the asparagus. Let marinate for about 10 minutes. Then grill asparagus on barbecue or in a saute pan until browned.
Add Parmesan cheese if desired, and squeeze more lemon over the finished asparagus. Add salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm or at room temperature.
