Use watermelon (or any kind of melon!)
- 2 cups cold water
- 2 cups melon, rind removed, seeded and chopped into cubes
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 TB. lime juice
- mint
- Rum optional
In a blender, combine water, melon, sugar, and lime juice until smooth. Pour through a strainer into a pitcher, forcing through most of the pulp. Chill 30 minutes before serving. Serve with or without ice cubes. Add slices or chunks of watermelon,
By the way, kids love eating fresh cut melon with a melon baller. Talk about fun!
