- 3 Tbs olive oil
- 1 Tb garlic, minced
- 1/4 onion, diced
- 1 bunch Swiss chard, stems and center ribs removed and chopped together…leaves coarsely chopped separately
- 1 Tb lemon juice (fresh lemons preferred)
- 2 Tbs Parmesan cheese, grated
- Salt to taste (optional)
Heat the garlic, onion and chard stems in olive oil over medium heat and cook until fragrant. Simmer until the stems begin to soften. Stir in the chard leaves and lemon juice, and cook until wilted. Stir in parmesan cheese. Use salt as needed.
