Rhododendrons can be considered one of the royals of the shade garden.  Give them filtered sun or almost full sun on the coast where the climate is mild and foggy.

Rhododendrons prefer to be planted in mounds, especially where soil is clay or sandy.  Do this by placing the rootball on top of soil amended with Greenall Azalea Rhododendron Camellia Mix.  Then mound up around the roots with more of the Greenall Mix blended 50/50 with Forest Mulch Plus.  Of course, add EB Stone Sure Start to get the rooting started right!
