Ceanothus "Tuxedo"

This new shrub certainly has the "WOW" factor! The leaves are a dark, purple black that really stand out in the landscape.

Unlike our other native wild lilacs, Tuxedo blooms in late summer and fall in a powder blue color. The mature size of the plant is 8’ x 8’ but unlike other Ceanothus, it can be shaped or sheared to fit its space without getting scraggly or woody.

• Tuxedo is a perfect candidate for fall planting.
• Requires well drained soil and less than average water.
