With 30 years in the horticulture business, Monterey Bay Nursery grows plants on 50 beautiful acres in northern Monterey County. Their plant list contains 1,000 plant varieties, with an emphasis on new introductions. We like to source plants from this local nursery because their special soil blend is perfect for helping plants adapt to the soils and climates of our Bay Area customers.
Monterey Bay is made up of a great group of people. Sales representative Jeff is a constant fixture at Sloat Garden Center. He can often be seen tooling around our stores, delivering beautiful plant samples to our nursery buyers with his sweet little dog Stella by his side.
