Recipe of the month: Feijoa Smoothie & Feijoa Sauce

Feijoa Smoothie
2 feijoas
1 1/2 cups milk
1/4 cup vanilla ice cream or yogurt
1 tablespoon honey

Cut feijoas in half and scoop out the flesh, put into blender.
Add remaining ingredients and blend until frothy.

Simple Feijoa Sauce
4 feijoas
1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
2 tablespoons brown sugar

Cut feijoas in half and scoop out the flesh, add to blender. Add remaining ingredients pulse until smooth. Good with meat or chicken -- or can be used as a glaze for ham.
